3D Snapshot beschreibt die schnelle Aufnahme eines kompletten 3D-Bildes einer Umgebung oder eines Objekts, wobei jeder Teil der Umgebung oder des Objekts (der später im 3D-Bild abgebildet ist) zu jeder Zeit während (der) Bildaufnahme erfasst wird.
