Zone direkt vor einem Sensor, in der ein Objekt oder Reflektor nicht oder nicht zuverlässig erkannt wird. Die Blindzone beginnt an der Referenzkante des Sensors. Im Normalfall stellt dies die vorderste Kante des Sensorgehäuses in Richtung des Licht- oder Schallaustritts dar.
