AOPDDR

Eine diffuse Reflexion nutzende aktive optoelektronische Schutzeinrichtung (AOPDDR, engl.: active opto-electronic protective device using diffuse reflection) ist eine BWS, deren Sendeelemente optische Strahlung aussenden. Wenn ein undurchsichtiges Objekt die Strahlung reflektiert, dann detektiert die AOPDDR dieses Objekt. Dazu reicht sehr schwache Reflexion aus, z. B. von dunkler Kleidung. Beispiel: Sicherheitslaserscanner.
