Das Kollisionsschutzfeld detektiert Objekte mit definierten Eigenschaften. Es hat eine größere Reichweite als ein Schutzfeld. Mit dem Kollisionsschutzfeld können z. B. Kollisionen von Fahrzeugen sicher verhindert werden. Für die Detektion von Personen ist das Kollisionsschutzfeld nicht geeignet.
