Overview
The MARSIC300 ship emissions measuring device from SICK is a customized solution for reliably measuring emissions on ships according to MARPOL Annex VI and IMO MEPC. The MARSIC300 is type-approved for this application by well-known classification organizations. The MARSIC300 measures both SOx and CO2 upstream and downstream of the scrubbers, and NOx upstream and downstream of SCR (selective catalytic reduction) plants.
An experienced manufacturer of emissions measurement technology, SICK is offering the MARSIC300 as a compact complete system. Designed to be used on ships, the measuring device impresses with extremely low maintenance costs and modules that are easy to replace.
- Rugged design and high level of measurement accuracy
- Type-approved by well-known classification organizations in accordance with MARPOL Annex VI and IMO MEPC
- Measuring ranges adapted to low and high concentrations of SO2 and NOx
- Up to 7 measuring components at the same time: SO2, CO2, CO, NO, NO2, NH3, H2O
Advantages
Intelligent solutions for the shipping industry

For clean air on the high seas

The MARSIC300 boasts minimal maintenance requirements, has almost no wear and tear parts or moving parts and can be calibrated using internal calibration filters.

The MARSIC300 quickly pays for itself in combination with modern exhaust gas purification systems, as it can save costs depending on the type of fuel.

SICK Maritime Suite: More transparency on the world’s oceans
Benefit from the experience of a leading manufacturer in maritime emission monitoring! Using the digital services in the SICK Maritime Suite such as the MARtracker, the live data of the emission monitoring device of the ship can be combined with other data such as the position of the ship as well as ECA and local emission regulations. The result: Tailored status messages, more transparency over your entire fleet, and an optimization of operating costs.

On a safe course with the right service
MARITIME SERVICES from SICK – on site where you need us

SICK supports you with regular maintenance with its network of service experts. And with proper training, customers can perform common maintenance activities on their own. If the ship has a changing crew, e-learning is a good way to explain the maintenance tasks that need to be performed. As often as you want, regardless of the time or location.

Extended warranty, SICK Remote Service, 24-hour help desk, maintenance, availability guarantees and other modular services can be individually combined on request.
