LiDAR

LiDAR (Light Detection And Ranging) is a method for measuring distance with the aid of time-of-flight measurements. Laser beams are emitted, and LiDAR sensors detect the backscattered light. The light's time-of-flight is then used to determine the distance to the location where the light was scattered.
