Stator coupling

The stator coupling is used to compensate both axial and radial shaft movements of the drive element and mounting tolerances – without significantly impairing the accuracy of hollow-shaft encoders. The torque produced by the bearing friction is absorbed by the angular acceleration of the shaft.
