DtO

DtO refers to the classic “distance to object” operating mode. In this mode, the detection of the object is outputted as a switching signal as soon as the object is closer to the sensor than the defined switching threshold is. On some distance sensors, this mode is also referred to as “sensor on object” or “simple switching point.”
