Overview
SICK offers a pre-assembled upgrade kit allowing the simple replacement of PLS opto-electronic protective devices, which is perfectly matched to the latest machine and system safety requirements.
With the upgrade kit PLS to S3000, PLS protective devices can be replaced easily with the S3000 successor product. Exchange is done without mechanical conversions; only rewiring of the existing PLS connecting cable is necessary.
The upgrade kit contains the CDS configuration and diagnostic software for programming the S3000 safety laser scanner as well as the service cable for connecting the S3000 to a PC.
