1D and 2D code identification on conveyor lines

The growth in the logistics sector has also increased the requirements on process flexibility and stability. Image-based code readers or track and trace systems with matrix and line cameras enable both 1D and 2D codes to be identified on conveying systems. Depending on the particular application, the aim is to achieve the highest possible read rates, whereby requirements such as conveying speeds up to 4 m/s, objects with different heights, omnidirectional bar code reading, or image output for analysis software need to be fulfilled.
