The outdoorScan3 safety laser scanner protects people in a wide range of mobile and stationary outdoor applications. Thanks to intelligent algorithms and the outdoor safeHDDM® scanning technology, operation is reliable even in harsh weather conditions, which considerably increases your productivity. The outdoorScan3 stands out thanks to the rugged housing, smart connectivity and advanced diagnostic functions. The Safety Designer configuration software from SICK also enables easy and intuitive operation.

The patented and high-precision outdoor safeHDDM® scan technology differentiates between real safety risks and interfering environmental influences. With the AGV Dynamic Weather Assist function block, the outdoorScan3 also reacts dynamically to changing weather conditions.

High flexibility of the outdoorScan3 for designing your individual automation processes

The flexibility of the outdoorScan3 enables individual configuration variants via the Safety Designer software, therefore allowing for optimal adjustment of settings for different tasks. One example is the automatic, weather-dependent AGV speed adjustment.
You can configure 8 simultaneous protective fields and 128 fields with individual settings
With individual definition of multiple sampling and the resolution for each field, protective fields can be switched depending on the weather
