Inspection
- The Inspector family of vision sensors offers simplifies high-performance 2D part inspection. They are designed to be a cost-effective solution for applications that would otherwise require more complicated and expensive vision systems.
- The IVC-2D smart camera comes in standard VGA, XGA and UXGA resolutions and operates on gray scale images.
- SICK's IVC-3D camera and Ranger and Ruler cameras are high-performance 3D solutions for more advanced inspection tasks.
Measurement
- The IVC-2D is a self-contained, stand-alone vision solution with an easy-to-use graphical user interface, enabling fast measurement in 2D.
- Measuring the third dimension with the IVC-3D camera provides knowledge about object height, shape and volume, independent of contrast.
- The Ranger and Ruler cameras are for advanced applications. The cameras measure object shape (3D) at high speeds at the same time as other object features, such as gray scale and laser scatter.
Identification
- Whether 1D or 2D, or direct marked codes, the Lector family of image-based code readers provides an ideal solution. The Lector®620 and the Lector620 OCR offer automatic focus teach-in for use in fixed mount applications.
- The Lector®650 offers 2/4 megapixel resolution, a high frame repetition rate of 40 Hz, and dynamic focus adjustment from object to object.
Robot Guidance
- SICK offers several solutions for more cost-effective robot guidance, including 2D and 3D vision solutions. Depending on the application, users can choose from the more advanced IVC-3D camera or our 2D solution, the IVC-2D camera.
